Annotation:
Team players is a story about great team lead ‘Cassie
Bennet’ who knows how to lead a team towards victory. She keeps many group of
friends together or fix any problem that come her way. She introduces ‘Sarah
Milligan’ who has exceptional softball skills with the intention to fit her
into the team. However, it was hard for ‘Sarah Milligan’ to mingle with so many
people around. Team coach,her father mentioned that she is on autism spectrum.
No one in the team wants Sarah anymore despite Cassie numerous attempts. Cassie
later realizes that she can’t fix a problem in someone else but in herself.
This book is part of series named as Home team novels, 4. This book is written
based on theme of living with invisible disability. Its storyline is
character-driven specifically for grade level 5-8. Its genre is sports fiction
with focus on ability diverse characters.
